Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity is classified as a 501(c)7 nonprofit organization and its chapters are recognized subgroups of the Fraternity. As such, your donations to the SAI Denver Alumnae Chapter are not tax-deductible at this time. Keep reading to learn more about how you can support our chapter. JoAnne Kyhl Memorial Performance Competition Fund

The JoAnne Kyhl Memorial Performance Competition is open to active members, in good standing, of the Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver and the Mu Tau chapter of Colorado State University. This long-running competition, previously known as our scholarship audition, was renamed in 2018 to honor Denver Alumnae member JoAnne Kyhl, who passed away in 2017.

An annual prize of up to $500 is available as part of the competition.

Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc., created in 1974 as a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is the charitable arm of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. Its mission is to promote all aspects of music creation, performance and scholarship; and encourage service for and through music on the campus, in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world. Your donation to SAI Philanthropies, Inc. is tax-deductible.
